Arlington Receives 2024 Vision Zero for Youth U.S. Leadership Award
Arlington, VA received the Vision Zero for Youth U.S. Leadership Award in 2024. Arlington County, through the work of its Vision Zero initiative, and Arlington Public Schools exemplified Vision Zero for Youth leadership. The award committee was impressed by the wide range of traffic calming strategies; the use of data; inclusion of youth needs in Arlington’s Vision Zero Plan and its active, inclusive engagement of community members.
